I’ll be talking about the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek. So, the first thing I would like to say, just to begin from somewhere. If we are talking about this priesthood, we must understand the  Chronology of God’s creation.

BIBLE CHRONOLOGY:

The Bible, as we have it, is not in a chronological format. Where the Bible started is not the beginning of the beginnings. It just started from somewhere. And God hid the beginning just in between the Bible, especially in the prophetic scriptures. He did that in His wisdom and understanding so that those who seek can find it out. So, if you have a chronological understanding of the Bible, the first thing you will observe is that there was a time in the timeless past,( you can’t put a date or year to it) When God Himself just dwelt alone. And when I say God, I mean the Godhead. The Godhead, God the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, which represents one God in a mystery that we have been taught, dwelt alone. And then, from there, He now began to create other classes of spiritual beings. And as He created these different classes of spiritual beings, He also began to create residence for them.

GOD CREATED DIFFERENT CLASSES OF SPIRIT BEINGS:
➢ Angels in their different Orders
➢ Arch Angels
➢ Cherubims
➢ Seraphims
➢ Sons of God or Morning Stars
➢ Elders
➢ The Seven spirits before His Throne (Rev.4:5, Is.11:2) The Tutors
➢ Other spirits (1Kngs.22:21)
➢ Elemental spirits

Firstly, in heaven and then on the earth. So, the first thing I would like to say is there was a time in the timeless past when God dwelt alone and then He created different classes of spiritual beings. And these classes of spiritual beings that He created; He involved them in the administration of His vast estate. And so, if you read the Bible, some of the things we have done in the past is just to classify all spiritual beings as Angels, but this is not so. If you read the Bible, there are Angelic beings. And even in the structure of Angels, there is a hierarchy.

There are Angelic beings that are described as cherubs. Even though, strictly speaking, even cherubs, you cannot say they are Angels. Cherubs are cherubs. You can say they are angelic. Then, there are Archangels. The Bible mentions some of them, like Michael, like Gabriel. And if you read other scriptural books that are not canonized, like the Book of Enoch, the Book of Adam and Eve, you see other classes of Archangels. Then, apart from Archangels, there are now Angels. So, that is the Angelic beings. And then, there are other classes of spiritual beings.

If you read Revelation chapter 4, that the Bible describes as elders. In the past, we have been
taught that elders are the Old Testament patriarchs and the New Testament patriarchs. So, it
may be Moses and then others. And then, in the New Testament, Paul and others, but this is
not so.
