Description
Our walk with God can never be complete or fruitful until we understand this subject and begin to bring its elements into our relationship with God, and with one another.
Hallmark events in the Bible like the giving of the Ten Commandments on Mount Sinai, and then transition from the Old to the New Era of God’s dealings with mankind proceeded out of a covenant relationship with a people:
And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel (Emphasis mine).
28. And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments
(Exodus 34: 28, emphasis mine).
26. And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27.And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;
28. For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins (Matthew 26:26-28)
