If you are building a story building, it means that the foundation has to be deeper. If you are building a skyscraper, it means that the foundation has to be deeper than that of a story building. It has to go down enough to be able to carry the weight of the house that you want to build.

This is what the Word of God uses to describe somebody who is a Christian; somebody who is building a Christian structure. The way it is revealed in the Word of God, the foundation that must carry the house is the foundation of Christ Himself. As the Lord has taught us in this area, to lay that foundation properly, there are some fundamental things that need to be put in place
